I thought I'd share a couple of useful wedding tips and ideas that I've picked up from my clients and friends that have planned their own weddings. Planning your own wedding doesn't have to break the bank, and wouldn't it be lovely to have a wedding planner to organise and plan your special day. Unfortunately for many of us, we have to plan our own wedding and over the last couple of years, I've picked up lots of tips, contacts and great ideas to help you. I'll keep adding and updating tips and ideas as I go along.
Wedding invites / table plans
Kate Slattery designed the invite above for her sister's wedding. It's an innovative, beautiful design and what's more her prices are very competitive to those on the high street. She can design and print your invites to your specifications. I absolutely love the way she designed this card which also included the RSVP and stamp, as we all know how lazy people are rspv'ing to invites. Email Kate and don't forget to let her know that you came through me :)firstname.lastname@example.org

Congratulations to Juliet, another bride that fluttered her lush lashes at the end of June 2013.
Juliet wanted her lashes to look dramatic but at the same time not too fake for her special day, so I recommended the Mink C curl for that natural curl using a 0.20mm thickness which gave her a bold enough statement but also natural enough to keep her guests guessing "are they or aren't they real".
As we hit June we can finally stow away our big woolly jumpers and coats and adorn a much lighter seasonal change of clothes as its about to get a whole lot warmer here in the UK. Wow!! Really?! I hope so because there are loads of brides this year gearing up for their special day here in the UK and it would be the icing on the cake we had blue skies and sunshine!
The wedding season is now in full swing. Book early to get luscious lash extensions for your big day.
(*If you've never had lashes always get a patch test first in case of any allergic reactions to the ingredients)
One of my spring 2013 brides. Louise asked me to do her lashes and make-up but on the day I ended up doing her hair too.
Louise is a natural beauty, has beautiful flawless skin, made even more flawless with a little bit of foundation and concealer, and toppled off with some beautiful Mink Lash extensions. She wanted a beautiful dreamy look so I used Mink lash extensions in a C curl to give her a more softer sophisticated look. This gorgeous couple really did have the sun shining down on them after a bitter cold March and April start. Congratulations to Lou and Jim!
